I have a nice pair of over pants that are a bout a half to almost a size too big. I didn't want to get them too small and have them bunch and be uncomfotable. So I had the wife show me the ropes on the sewing machine.

I had an old back pack that I has saved the plastic buckles, strap and strap adjusters from, so I reused them... 'cause I'm cheap that way.

I basicly mimicked the way the straps and adjuster buckle was attached to the back pack and added the adjusters to both sides of the pants...

The up side is now I can adjust the straps and my pants arn't all saggy butt AND I learned how to operate a new piece of equipment.. the sewing machine..
