Just imagine that one air bubble you missed when you tint your own shield. And while you taking that long ride, watching the bubble get bigger and bigger. Until it reaches the edge and staarts to peel off and flap against your face at 70 mph. Buy a tinted shield and avoid the bubble.

You might look into an amber visor. I needed a new visor a month ago and the only replacement I could find was amber. I bought one and it took a little time to get used to it, but I like it for two reasons.
1. I no longer have to wear sunglasses and keep up with them.
2. At night the bright lights from oncoming cars aren't a problem.
(but it seems to get darker outside sooner, so don't go home early, it's really not that late)
