  • question about saddle bags?

    what can i put between the bags and the bike to keep them from rubbing against the paint?

    been trying to find somthing for the last few minutes and can't see to locate anything.

    the saddle bags I use came with neoprene flaps that protect the paint.

        You might try a sewing/fabric store to see what they have in the way of material for that.

          as did mine, but it only came with one flap.

            I used to use a rubber type kitchen drawer liner. Didn't look great, but definitely saved a lot of scratches on my plastics
            Some people are a lot like Slinkys.
            Not really good for anything, but bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

                as a note, thise fabric covered flexible mousepads are neoprene.

                hit them with a little heat, and stretch them, and the lycra cover comes off.

                will work fine for padding paint.

                    exactly what I use underneath my tankbag, works awesome. I also wax my tank on a regular basis to maintain a good layer of protection.
