Ratcheting Tie-Downs

    Just my car hauling experience... We used a winch and ratcheting chains to pull the car down, then used chains cut to length to actually secure the car. After the chains were attached we let up on the winch and ratchets until everything was carrying some of the load. That way if the ratchets or winch failed, the car was still secure.

    belts and suspenders...

    You could do something similar with bike I would think.

        I bought a pair, lime green from Big Lots. The work wery well.

        As far as lifting the fron of my bike, I put my Canyon Dancers on the bars a throw one strap over the garage rails, in between the two doors and pull it up that way. It only has to hold up quite less than 100lbs.
