    i have one of the alpinstar braces for freestyle moto,there definatley helpful in the even you go down,but otherwise slighty restraining

          I would think that will do more harm than good. I played hockey in a league that required them for 2 years and they stopped because it multiplied the amount of injuries and just isn't comfortable anyway...
