Does the chatterbox work?

I am thinking about getting the chatterbox for me and my wife and for my friend when me and him ride. Does anyone have it or know anyone who has it and does it work. I read cycle world this month and its says ...pretty much at highway speeds after 70 it really doesn't work..

Yes the chatterbox does work but you want to get the open face mic set up. The full face set up does not filter enough wind noise out. So that is why it kicks the voice activation on around 70. But around town it works fine. I use mine with my 8 yr old daughter and no problems. But do go with the open face set up.

so u have to buy a open face helmet??

No, the mic just has a foam cover to filter out wind noise. The setup for a closed face helmet does not, or it is smaller. You can still install it in a closed face helmet.
