  • 2014 Ninja 1000 anyone?

I was looking at a 2014 Ninja 1000 in blue and I want one. Has anyone ridden one? I love how it takes sport touring more towards the sport side and it seems without giving up comfort. Factory hard bags also.

I do not think I would do anything crazy to get one since I am loving my Kat, about $2500 into it with some touring stuff and riding gear and new road pilot 3 tires. But when daycare is over with I may have to consider one.

You should probably wait it out. The factory hardbags look pretty sweet...

I'm always impressed by the color matched hardbags.
If you haven't considered adding touring packs to your Kat... you should check out http://www.vikingbags.com/street-bike-saddlebags.htm , it's a little better than the cortech and bigger. Check out the product picture for examples..

I have similar soft bags and a tank bag. I am loving my Kat and will keep it for a while. I do miss the torque of a liter bike though. I live and ride in Colorado and the 600 loses a lot of power up over 10,000ft. I will say that elevation is mostly short term over passes and with a couple downshifts it will still do more than the speed limits on those roads.
