From an aesthetic standpoint I can see some resemblance... The place I purchased my wife's 675 was a Ducati dealer, and the little Triumph stacked up suprisingly well when parked next to the 1098's and 848's in the building. Even with Agusta F4's and Aprilia's on the floor your attention would still gravitate toward the 675 if you were in the market for a European bike but didn't have $20k to drop down on a ride...

no it isnt my daytona though since i wrote this review i have sold my Kat and bought an 07 daytona 675. the parts are really really expensive. my regulator went on the 675 and the dealer wanted almost 400 bucks for a new one
but i ended up using a cbr1000rr regulator that was much cheaper and works actually much better then the factory triumph one. i have to say though the daytona vs a kat i have to say they are on totally different levels. the kat is a great bike but triumphs are like ducati's just a super sport exotic that is expensive but worth it ALL DAY
