  • Truimph Spirit

When I started looking around for a new bike I took A Truimph Sprint (I think it was a 750). Man this machine is a hell cat on wheels.
Around town it hated to be in 2 gear doing 50km and on the open road it was insane.
4 gear and doing over 130km/h with still gears to go, we have a speed limit of 100km/h and to keep this hell cat at that was hard work.
Great to ride, handled really well but it want the race track and it's freedom to raw.

No Tri by that name is available in the US. A google search only revealed the "opportunity" to download a pic of it, no details.

I think he's talking about the Sprint ST 1050, Stevie. he put spirit in the title, but says sprint in the post.

Hey Lyle, is this the bike you rode??......

Sorry my memory not the best it was about 1yr ago but I looked on web site and think it must of been the ST too.

It seemed to have power to burn and then some..

I take it you are a bike mechanic Steve from the list of bikes?

I have owned: XS 400 Yamaha; XJ 900 Yamaha and now the GSX1100F.

It was around 6yrs since the XJ to the GSX but loving the wind in the face again.

Yep, tons of power, engine is the same as the Speed Triple, just tuned for better bottom end and mid-range.
