  • great Kawasaki promotion

Not sure if it's available in the US, but here Kawasaki has a great promo being offered on their ZX10r and ZX6r's.

Buyers have the option of 1 of 4 track day component options. Options available are:

    1. Full Akrapovic exhaust with carbon fiber can.

    2. ohlins rear suspension

    3. Braking performance wheel kit. (nice wheels and rotors)

    4. Attack body kit and foot controls. (race plastics and adjustable rearsets)

Seems like a pretty good offering from the boys in green.

Official website of Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. distributor of powersports vehicles including: motorcycles, ATVs, Side-x-Sides and personal watercraft.

They should set up a version of a PlayStation mc racing game, to let you "try out" each of the different mods before you buy...

I'd be all over the Ohlins rear suspension. That is one option I want BAD on my '06 ZX6R. Braking and wheels are already pretty good, rearsets and plastics are easier to add on buying one at a time. The Ohlins rear shock is quite a hit financially at one time.

Besides, suspension is what makes for sweet laptimes on the track.

Id have a hard time deciding over 1 and 2..... id probably go with 1 just because i dont ride track and the zx oem suspension is good anyway.

actually i changed my mind.... rims/waved rotors.... those must cost more than the other 3. They look sick as hell.

true... but they are (6 or 9 i forget) spoked aluminum flat black rims, with waved rotors and new sprockets.

                  gotta be 2,000

I wouldnt get the ohlins, those arnt that much

and plastics dont appeal to me because i dont ride track. The only reason i ride is to go fast in straight lines and pick up girls by not wearing a helmet so they can see me. ( )

That's pretty funny...I missed this post this morning. I guess you figure SOARacing, is a bunch of guys, getting wasted and spending the night with some less than desirable women to see who is the first to catch a disease.

If thats the case, consider this my resignation as your endurance racing partner.
