100 - 1190RS Buell’s were produced so that Buell can race in AMA. $40K a piece. It looks like the bike is competitive with the GSXR1000. How long till he can come out with a bike for the average consumer? Low price will require more money and funds. It would be nice to see a USA built sport bike versus the Victory’s and Harley cruziers. Check out www.AMAproracing.com One of the clips show the Buell coming in second place to Roger Hayden.

Erik Buell is the "Mad-Scientist" of American Sportbikes. I tried like hell to buy one at a Toledo, Ohio Harley Dealership in 2007. Could not come to terms with those Harley folks. Bought the Kawasaki C-14 and never looked back. I wish Erik could find a partner that is worthy of the excellence that could be one of the best production bikes available. I wish him luck...

Agreed. I just don't think we'll ever see a EBR 1190RS sell for the same price or close to that of a Gixxer at least not with the same craftmanship and specs.
