Jennings GP

Well I am going to Jennings GP for a track day with a local shop called GP Bikes Inc. It is on 20 Sept which is a Monday. So I toyed with the idea of taking a day off from work but then I though about asking my commander if I could use it as a motorcycle training day as the bike shop will be holding a training session in the morning. I had a commander in the past that authorized this. First, my commander is a non rider and has horror stories about people he knew that got hurt/killed. Being such, rider training is a big deal to him as well as wearing proper PPE/gear. So he told me yes about using it as training. After that he asked about funding. I told him it was $131 for the track day and a hotel stay the night before. To my surprise he told me to find a way he could legally pay for the trip and he would. When I say pay I mean - travel, hotel, track fee and per deim.........

So the bike shop is making me a letter that states the fees and learning objectives and such.
