So I finally got the bike put back together and rode it around for a little. Got some gas and thought the gauge would move, but it didn't. I looked to see if I had the wires in the right connectors and they were, but I switched them anyways and then the gas gauge went up to the full mark and stayed there, I looked at the float in the tank and it was half way (half tank) and before I got gas when the tank was empty I stook a screwdriver In and moved the float up and down and the gauge didn't move, but when I switched the connectors (opposite) same thing, says the tanks full when there's no gas in it.
Also is there anyway to tell how much life brake/headlights have left? This bike has sat for awhile and I would hate to have either go out. I think the answers no and maybe I'll just buy new lights all around anyways just to be safe. Just curious
