pre main fuse popping when given gas.

I have a pre that when ever I rev it pops the main fuse. I just changed the alternator and still having the same problem. I am about to tear into the wiring harness but was hoping someone out there had an idea.

Throttle cable snagging on a wire, cut through the insulation causing a short maybe?

Multimeter and a bladed, trippable 30a circuit breaker time
