wont turn over

i have a 06 katana 600. Ran all summer, last night I dumped it on its left side doing about 7-10 mph.. and i have power everywhere but when i try to start it, the headlight goes off and i have nothing. I thought maybe the kickstand shut off may have been messed up when i dropped it. but it wont even turn over in neutral.. Not really sure at this point what it is, any suggestions.

checked the ignition fuse, its fine and made sure kill switch wasnt on.
Pop started and drove it home so i know i have power when its running.

Check the clutch safety switch - I had a simialr thing happen, and it turned out the switch was bad. To test, remove the plug, and connect a wire across the wires to see if the bike will start.
