I bought some new nice bulbs and I'm wondering how to remove the white pieces behind the headlights? I turned to left and right and it doesn't seem to be loosening them. Help please!! I really don't want to break them

Since you have bulbs, I'm assuming its a post.
Also, download the free manual from this site - it will mean you need to ask fewer questions and break fewer things and you'll save lots of time.
Not sure what "white pieces" you mean.
Disconnect the plugs from the back of the bulbs.
Remove the rubber boots (#2)
Loosen the spring clip that secures the bulbs.
Remove old bulbs.
Insert new bulbs in correct orientation and reverse above procedure.Last edited by TRPUT; 06-28-2012, 07:41 PM.

Yeah I finally figured it out. There are white octagons with a Phillips head center on each side of the headlights and thought those were the backings to the bulbs lol. Thanks for the info as well bro. Much appreciated

Ah - those white bits ... they would be to adjust the beam direction. You better check your lights still shine forward.
