So I was sitting at a light and I looked down at the IP and noticed four spaces for idiot lights, three of which I knew (High Beam, Oil Pressure, and Neutral) and one I figured was a blank. It was very dark and not like the others, so I was wondering if the Katana had a feature available that wasn't installed on my bike or whether is was just a blank that was used on another bike. And just because it annoys me that it's blank, has anyone ever made use of that space?

It's been used for a gear indicator display. Do a search. It'd be pretty nice to have every once in a while. Keep you from looking for 7th gear. -
I've seen that spot next to the right of the spots used for a GPI and it looks pretty good but I never seen the one blank spot used like that... I'm just checking to make sure that we're on the same page... because on my cluster, it has 4 pre-cut ovals and one is blank...
