The orange wire is made live when the ignition switch is turned on.

There is also a red wire which is live always.

I know the attached pic is terrible but it was just before I reinstalled the fairing and after zip tying the loose wires.

Thanks for all of the quick responses. when you say "switchable" does that mean I add my own switch, or it has power with the ignition switch?
