  • Gauge cluster

I was tossing around gauge ideas, and wondered if anyone had used a gsxr gauge for a fighter design? Seems to be roughly the same size (or close enough for me) for most digital aftermarket gauges. How different are the signals for the tach and speed? Can the speed sensor for a newer gsxr be easily fit to a kat wheel?

I little info on your bike would be helpful... year, model, etc.

the gsxr speed sensor for the digital and some analog style speedos are on the C/S sprocket.. not the wheel, and theres a bunch of electronic voodoo you will need to do to make it work.. so if your not good with electronics, the earlier srad units were on the wheels and much easier to adapt to the kat...
I have a complete 91 gsxr front end on my 91 kat. and it uses the cable drive. you will need to do some rewiring as they are not a direct swap. if your determined to do it.. find a set of gauges and download the wiring diagrams for your bike and the bike the gauges came from and figure out how to wire the 2 together.. i picked up a 12 pin molex connector and put it all in one plug.
