Im slowly getting my pre 600 back on the road and since iv had the bike iv never been able to turn the headlight off even though iv got the option on the switchs to do so. I know this is probably for the best i cant turn it off my question is do you think it would fail an MOT? Wen i turn the lights off on the switch the lights on the clocks will turn on and off. Im not bothered with the issue as long as i wont fail an MOT. thanks andy

In the US it's illegal to drive with your headlights off, do the euro versions have an all off switch?90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.

I recently replaced my right side switch with UK version. I found that in order to make the switch work as intended I traced the Yellow/ White wire from the left side switch and simply plugged it into the extra yellow/ white plug on the right side. In the off position all lights off. In the center clocks tail lights come on, and in the on position the headlight comes on. With out replaceing the wire the headlight will remain on. 1997 GSX750FVCrash
