  • blown fuse on 2006 suzuki katana

on a 2006 suzuki katana 600, if your speedometer, odometer, tachometer, horn, dash backlight, and turn signals stop working suddenly, you have a blown 15 amp fuse, accessible under the seat just on top the battery.

there should be a spare in there on the right side of the fuse box, so use that, then go to any auto store and ask for a 15 amp mini blade fuse, should be pretty darn cheap.

operation of the bike is not affected, though. make sure you use your hand signals until you get the fuse replaced.

I had the same problem on my 06 Kat. Found a connection full of water a week after washing the bike. Drained and air out the connection and no more blown fuses.
