  • Fuel Gauge

So after I finished with painting the bike, I rode the bike to work and noticed about 1/4 way there that the fuel gauge doesn't even come on. I painted the tank on the bike and also pulled off the instrument panel. I was wondering what could cause this. Did I unplug something in the panel or possibly pulled something from under the tank? Could someone please help.

There are two wires that connect from the sender unit on the bottom of the tank to the gauge cluster connection/power. My connections are located on the right side of my bike near the oil fill.
