  • turn signal wiring.. HELP!!

I'm almost ready to roll, just need to finish these little issues. when I got the bike(88' kat6) the previous owner had demolished the wiring harness.. soo I've gone through and repaired the mess and it's actually turned out decently. my prob now is I'm not sure what wires to hook to the blinkers all the way around. so before I go ahead and hard wire the signals can anybody tell me what color wires go to each signal?? I'm really hopin someone can pull thru for me here I really don't want to hard wire anything..

+1 on the manual. It will show the entire wiring harness and give you the color codes for all of them. It really makes it easy.

Yes, the manual will have a wiring diagram which will tell you each and every color of wires to your stock wiring harness. Where they start and were they end.

Here is a 98+ wiring harness from bike bandit fiche

This is a pre98 wiring harness from bikebandit fiche

What the manual and fiche don't give is gauge of the wire and sizes of connectors. Pictures do help in many cases and will get you where you need to be quicker than a wiring diag.
Squig is right tho, this is only good for stock/oem wiring. If a 2lbox hacked the wiring you basically have to start at square one. You can almost bank that any hacking wires are solid colors and don't match the gauge of the other wiring. From what I have seen, they tend to use wire gauge that is to small compared to what is on the bike. That is a bad thing.
