  • How to hookup Cyclops?

    Hi all..

After an unplanned dismount, I found the need to take my stock headlight and cage off and decided to replace it with a Cyclops.

Can anybody walk me through how to hook it up? I have a 97. I notice that what appears to be the main lamp has two bulbs, which I'm assuming one is low and one is high beam. There is also a projector lamp. Do most people wire the high beam and the projector to go at the same time? Run a separate switch?

I know some basics, but I'm by no means a wiring expert so a walk through might help.

    Thanks!

    EDIT:

And before somebody says RTFM, it's poorly translated from some other language.

    try it both ways
on some of the Dirt bike type headlight units the projector works better as a low beam, others a s a high beam.
wire it up the same way as the stock headlihgt.
use one wire from each light and hook that to the OE headlight ground...
then one wire from the projector to the High or low beam EO wire and the remaining wire to the last unused wire.
then try it. If you find the projector works better as a high beam and you currently have it on low, switch the twi power wires.

I have a UFO twins for my MXF 200 sx but I run both all the time
