    I have a 04 kat 750 over the winter I put on V&H slip on, K&N air filter, and gears (-1,+2) havent had it rejetted yet but I when for a short ride anyway with it boging out alittle and first gear with NO clutch pulled up about 3 feet in the air

    with that gearing it should come up pretty easy. be careful til you get used to it.

      ............and get it jetted and those carbs resynchronized. THEN it will really run!
      I've owned over 70 Katanas - you think I know anything about them?

          probably... it'll also probably have you running at 8500+rpm at highway speed.

              i am also curious how it will work out. i am going to be buying a set of sprockets for my 2000 600 kat. she is completely stock for now... LOL. i just need to find out what others have found works the best.
              Without Fuel, Fire, and Compression- Air just seems useless!

                I like the idea of that kinda torque from the gearing, really do. However, I don't think i'd like her runnin that high on the interstate

                  -1 tooth up front won't make it THAT highway . Like a couple hundred RPM is all the difference .

                          I cant get it up!!! I have a stock 04 and cant get it on power but with slippin the clutch i can. I have thaught about changing the sprockets but i dont want to loose first gear. Will that actually happen

                            as much as i've tried i can't clutch it up, did once bout 3in but had to really wind up the rpms

                              well really i only get about 6 inches with out clutch but i bet i could flip it over using the clutch!
