  • Top end oil Bolt

Hey guys. I recently installed an engine in a post kat. Seems to be leaking from the plug on the top front of the head just below valve cover. Are these screwed in with a hex wrench as well. Looks like i gotta loosen the mounts to get at it properly...

I'm not 100% on a post engine but on the 92 1100 motor I've got sitting around waiting to go into my 600 it is hex. Looks like it's got a crush washer on it too fyi. Might want to check a parts fiche about that, if it's leaking there, a new crush washer (if it does have one) wouldn't be a bad idea. It might also specify hex vs regular bolt in the description.
