Hey! Some of us get it right the first time!

His floats could be off as well, flooding everything...including his oil.

Look at this from a statistical point of view. Even implied statistics. I guess you are right, roughly 0.4% of people are successful.

Right, I'll check my floats then.

What is the correct float hight?

Ummm...how did you set them in first place?

              All is revealed: Katriders Wiki

Also, when you soaked the bodies in carb cleaner:
How long were they soaking and in what carb cleaner?
Did you then blow them out with air and chase the ports you could with some fishing line or the specialized tools made to do it?

              Petcock working properly?

Float height could be but one problem. Carbs not clean enough could be another cause of fuel running rampant.

I set them according to the manual, I was just wondering if I got any difference on here, in the way that the af screw is different to factory.

They got a good blow through with clean, dry air from my compressor.

Petcock was fine before so I don't see why it would be malfunctioning now....

I'd suggest you fill the bowls, blow on the fuel lines... find where/which float needle isn't sealing. Address the leak issue from there.

If it's a float needle... could be bowl gaskets, so on...
