Explain the after fire. Any puffing from the carbs. Is it a random after fire while attempting to start? Or long turn over then an after fire?

Plug wires in the correct spots? Left 1&4 right 2&3. If yes it's probably time to clean the carbs.

Not if the coil voltage is low. Min 11v

Depends. Either the cams are out of time, the carbs are dirty or the plug wires are on the wrong plug. That is assuming the head gasket it sealing. And that ^^^

Not saying they aren't, just one probable cause. Shoot for coil voltage and a carb cleaning. How did the engine get seized?

You're checking the voltage on the powe side so, you're testing the small wires to the coil while you crank the engine over. How's the battery, Kats like a good strong battery.
