  • pre 600 to 750 swap

So I was thinking of swapin out the motor in my 1994 600 for a 94 750 motor i have. I do not have the carbs for the 750. Now I know I can jet my 600 carbs and make them work but is it worth it.

I need to know how big of a difference is there in the overall performance of the motor in the 750 carbs and the jetted 600 carbs?

Should I spend the money to get the 750 carbs or not

    750's are 36mm , and the 600's are 33mm

Big difference, you'll gain nothing with a 750 and 600 carbs. Larger jets won't make up for less air flow. With that said, Yoshimura used to put smaller carbs on their big bore kits to build some torque but, it only was 1or2mm and they were flat slides. Totally different carb operation.

Anyone got any carbs or cams that would wake this motor up?
