AIR Filter Box wont go back on

First off ill say im a newbie when it comes to motorcycles. Anywho i pulled the airbox off by accident when trying to replace the air filter today everythings fine except that i cant get it to go back on properly. Does anyone know of any tricks to help me out?

Which model Kat do you have?

I have a 1997 GSX600F

Take the air filter out of the air box. Stick your hand inside the box and push the rubber boots on from the back. Go one at a time. While applying pressure to the rubber boot, tighten the clamp on that boot.

Just so you know, that works no matter what model Kat you have. Or any motorcycle with an air box for that matter... just sayin'

if you have problems with the metal bracket you can take it off and put it on last after it is fitted to the rubber boots
