    Clean your gas tank... fill it with rocks and sand to remove rust.

    Why?

    This is why..

    Wow...if you picked up the bike for cheap because it wasn't running, awesome deal for you. If you're working on it for a friend...smack them upside the head. Hard.

      Rocks and sand ?
      Dont you want that out of there ?
      I powerspray at the car wash after everything is removed then I use a air mover ( snail fan ) to dry it out a few hours on a warm day .

        lmao . ive always used and handfull of stainless nuts and bolts. strap it to front of nephews fourwheeler for the day . like new!

            I've heard of using rocks... but not sand.... sand seems useless given the situation you're in.

            Bolts and nuts seems like a much better option.
