Nothing, the pre and post 600 is the same thing. It's the pre and post 750 that are different. The pre 750 is a short stroke with a larger diameter bore. The 98+ 750 is a longer stroke with a smaller diameter bore. The pre 750 is based on the 88-89 GSXR 750. The 98-06 750 is based on the 90-92 GSXR 750.
