what do i set my air/fuel screw to

hello everyone. I have a 95 kat. 600. I was wondering what I set my air/fuel mixture screw at?

2.5 turns out to start with, a drop down adjustment would get it nearly perfect.

is that 2.5 from back from tight? should I take the two in line fuel filters off?

A '95 shouldn't have ANY fuel filters on it.

Pre 98 = no fuel filters, post 98 = fuel filters, OEM style work the best. 2.5 turns out from seated ( turn the needle all the way in till seated, don't crank it down, then 2.5 turns out)

ok ill remove them, they were on it when I bought it. the 2.5 turns, is that from the screw being tight
