  • carburetor update airbox problem

Hello everyone I finally have my Kat running! Thanks to buying aresenics rebuilt carburetors!

Is it supposed to be really hard to get the middle air boots connected to the carburetors? Its impossible the ends are easy but middle ones seem so short.

Also what causes rpm to lower slowly after I rev my bike? Rpm. Is idling at 1,500 is that okay?

Those middle boots are always a pain. Take the air filter out of the box, stick your hand inside, and push the boots into the carbs.

Installing air boxes on motorcycles is usually quite a pita.. 1,500 rpms is pretty high. It should probably be around 1,100 or 1,200
The idle adjuster is on the left side of the bike, I'm sure you saw it when you put the carb on. Make sure your throttle cable has some free play!
