Is this a Katana part?

When I bought my bike the guy gave me bags of parts.
I have found out where they all go minus this one. I'm guessing its for another bike because the holes are not the same for a Katana grab bar.
As far as I know he had the Katana and a Busa. Did he give me a Busa part or what? Can I chuck this is in the trash?

FYI... it's aluminum... so if you recycle at all, I would throw it in that pile.

I want to say it was steel...
Its on the top of the pile so ill check tonight. I do have some steel and alum i need to take down and get some cash for. Might be worth a buck if that.
