  • Is my head Donald ducked? Help good guys!

So not in a great mood today as lastnight i was prepping my engine to finally try start her up. Putting on my couple ft of temp i had bodged together around my homemade stand, (just for starting purposes)anyway got under it and noticed half the casting #2 bolt hole was missing. Bad explanation but the pic shows what mean.

I got the engine as part of a buggy project so i never inspected it first off and as this is the first engine i have worked with, Inexperience was to blame because im sure you would all notice but i didn't and i have thrown a couple ton, (£200ish) at things like gaskets, bolts, tools, battery, oil etc into this engine.....

What a fool eh? anyway is there anything i can do, its not like a stripped thread that can be fixed and i may be imagining the worst that the head needs replaced as its eventually a cracked head? but what you think? What would you do?

I can see the damage, but do you have a further back pic so we can see where that bolt hole is?

real sorry thought i had mentioned its the header bolt, the large dark hole u an see is the outlet from the cylinders where the header butts up if that makes sense, i cannot get pic till later but will if needed
