2005 kat 750 carb question !

Intresting! Can any one tell me if there needle in the diaghfram all put to together is straight or bent ?? If you look close inside , on mine , there is a ( D ) shape , all manuals show the large plastic white spacer goes down first! Help me out!

needle with clip installed in diaghfram , first white washer , then clip ( on desired slot, ) then washer , then spring , then plug with o-ring , then big spring! put together , needle is angled , bent looking ! remove all items , look inside , and bottom of diagfram ware white washer sits is a (d) shape! make sense ?

It may not look completely straight...but it will be straight once it fits back into the carb, and the needle is guided into the hole below it.

There should be some springiness and play in the needle when you first put it back in the diaphragm- dont panic if it looks a little cocked
