93 Kat Air Filter & Jet Kit

I just got a V&H 4-1 for my katana and rode it a little bit while I'm waiting on my fairings to get back painted, but I just bought a jet kit & K&N air filter for it, is there any reason that I should have a professional install these instead of doing it myself?

And do not install the K&N Air Filter, you bike will run best with the stock filter.

That guide is for installing a jet kit in 98+ Katana. A lot of that does not apply to a 1993. Does anyone do any research before they buy stuff?

crap, I knew he had a pre-kat but figured that would help him get an overview of what it takes to install a jet kit..
