Idle drops after a day

I keep my idle at 1,250. But, after a day or two, it always seems to go down to 900-1,000. Could there be some engine/carb/etc issue going on? Or is it a case of the idle screw not holding? Any fix if that is the case?

I would say idle screw keeps backing off. Line up two marks, one on idle knob and one stationary and see if it moves. I believe if something is wrong with carbs it would be sooner than one or two days.

Thaniks uncltommy. Yeah, I haven't had a chance to line up any marks (which is ridiculous on my part), but I will today or this week. Any idea on what I could do if that is the case?
