Any and all help is sooo appreciated!
2001 Kat 600- have changed spark plugs, battery, new fuel filter and air filter. I think it may be a vacum or fuel line issue but cant figure it out. By accident I found out bike started and ran better than ever without the air filter in it and it stayed running..so I ordered a new one and put it in. Now the bike wont turn over unless starter fluid is sprayed in airbox, it revs , runs for a second then dies. Havent been able to ride it since Oct and I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out the issue...any and all help is so appreciated...this is my first post to Kat riders so please make my day and help a rider out...thanks!

Clean your carbs. Specifically, the pilot jets.

Do you want to do it yourself or buy a set of carbs that are already rebuilt? If you want to buy a set that's already done, I can help. Otherwise, I wish you luck.

Go to the wiki and search for "carbs 101" or "carbs 102"
