  • Mono shocks & K&N filters

Hi there, I am taking the plunge and replacing my 95 750 engine with one of the same age but hopefully better. It's the first time I've ever done anything quite so major so I wondered if anyone could advise me on a couple of things please. Firstly with everything stripped the monoshock looks in a terrible place and I can't afford a new one. On eBay (I'm UK based) there's nothing available and I was wondering if they're the same as the 600 or the bandit or the gsxr? Also any ideas as to which are the best k&n air filters are easiest/best to fit - I really hate that air box. Thanks in advance.

DO NOT use K&N filter/s on Kat carbs. they work best w/stock filter and airbox. use the search function: this has been discussed before.

      Ditto on the K&N...

As for the shock, rebuild a post 98 750 shock and smack it in there. Or a newer R6 shock.

The search button at the top right will give you more information than you will ever want to know about both of those subjects.
