  • Diy carb sync guages from HF

Would these work if I bought two of these and made my own custom carb sync system, with the extra 20% off coupon it'd be like 24 bucks!!

I don't know if that would work. I know you can build a manometer for less than $24 that would work though. PVC tubes, 2 glass bottles, rubber stoppers. There is a thread on here describing it. It's pretty easy.
    Extra life.

You would need an inline restrictor ... and they are no way going to be accurate enough to truely sync by.

I would stronly suggest looking at a "balance" sync setup instead of getting tools to individually measure by.

At the very least you'd need two of them, adjusted just right and with vacuum restrictors in the lines. As you adjust the vacuum in one carb will fall as the vacuum in the other one raises. Trying to adjust to meet some measured level won't work.

Seriously, build yourself a 2 or 4-line setup or do it right with a Morgan Carbtune. The point of syncing the carbs is to match the vacuum levels all the way across, regardless of the actual pressure values. It's a comparison thing, not a matter of matching some specific reading.
