  • will mod affect carb sync

I recently completed a jet kit mod on my 2006 katana 750 and I have had the carbs synced after.

If i decide to swap out my diaphram springs with difference ones will that affect my carb sync?

Reason I ask, I installed the springs that came with the kit, it was a dyno jet kit. I read that keeping the stock springs that are cut down to 4 inches will provide better low end response since you will need less vacuum to begin getting fuel from the needle circuit.

If you take the carbs off, you need to resync. If you just swap the spring with the carbs on, then you do not.

solid, the springs are definately something that can be done with just taking the tank off, so I figured I'd change them out and see if it makes any difference.
