  • Fumoto Drain

OK so I picked up the fumoto drain and with poking around this site I saw that Cyberpoet sold SmCo magnets to replace the magnetic drain plug. Anyone know where I can get magnets to stand up to the temps our oil hits?`

I know this is an old thread, but in case anyone has this question in the future...

At the moment, the best place to find coated SmCo magnets like those that CP used to sell appears to be here: http://apexmagnets.com/index.php?mai...index&cPath=77

            They're $9 (I use the 1/2" disks) for a set of 10 with ~ $7 shipping or $16 for 5 sets.

Other sites (like the one references above) sell uncoated SmCo magnets for about $1.50 a piece but with a minimum of $10 shipping, at least for me in Ohio (coming out to $13 for 1 set for me!)
