  • Clutch pushrod help!

Hey guys I just got my new clutch pushrod today but I can't get the old broken piece from inside it's hole. I don't have a magnet small enough and no local shops have one either. I really need some quick help so I can get this thing back on the road!

Remove and replace the oil seal after you get the pushrod out.

That's how you get it out. Pull the oil seal. If you have broken clutch rod, the seal is damaged anyways. Once the seal is out, any normal sized mechanic's magnet will fit in there easy. Then replace the oil seal with a new/good one.

I know. I didn't know you meant thats how it comes out.

Do you happen to know how far the pushrod is supposed to stick out past the seal?

Alright, new issue. I tore apart the seal and now its stuck inside. Is the metal ring part of the seal too?

Yes, that is what holds the seal. It's a press in seal.
