I'm changing my chain and sprocket right now. I have the shift linkage off, and all the sprocket cover bolts out. The sprocket cover will not come off. Do i need to pry it off?

First make sure you have the bolt in the center of the cover. If it still doesn't want to fall off then tap it a few times with a rubber mallet or the handle of a regular hammer. (Not the metal end.) Sometimes they stick. -
