My choke cable is stiff, and after the bike warms up (street riding an hour or so) it begins to idle high (3 grand) I can mess with the choke and it fluctuate, but after the bike sits for half an hour, crank it and its fine.

Generally speaking an idle creaping up when warm = lean pilot circuit (dirty or settings) or vacuum/air leaks causing the circuit to lean out.Originally posted by kwilliamskw30 View Post
You can always just disconnect the choke cable from the carbs to make sure it's not causing an issue.
