clutch issue

today when i went to leave i got on my bike put it in gear and it tried to pull off while i had the clutch in and then died. i adjusted the tensioner on the lever and it was fine but made it very difficult for me to shift or hold it in. could this be a bad cable...or maybe a bad lever???

Have you had any trouble with clutch shifting or slipping anything? Prob clutch wore out. Not too difficult to change.
