I have a DJ kit with 114 mains. I run a D&D slip on with the stock header with the welds ground down. Stock air cleaner and my Kat is an 02 600. I have mine at 2 7/8 right now and it is rich for sure. I was wondering where you guys would put the AF screws? 2 1/2 sound right?

2.5 - 2.75
with my 750 at 2.75 Im at 950 EGT... perfect for the best reliability.
its slightly rich, but helps with the 1/4 throttle lean flat spot and when riding hard closing the throttle cools the engine faster. Ive had no fouling issues what so ever and throttle responce is deadly...
I ran it as 2.5 while testing with the egt . I like my idle circuit below 1000 degrees so went 1/4 turn more.98 GSX750F

Balls! I got everything back together with them 2 1/2 out and it runs even worse than it did at 2 7/8. But it still smells very rich. Maybe my carbs are out of synch or something...What kind of effect does that usually result in? I am out of ideas. Where can I buy a synch tool cheap?Last edited by parkze; 04-04-2012, 10:00 PM.
