2 odd finds cleaning my carbs

The Kat has been running kinda crappy so I decided to give the carbs a quick and simple once over. This is what I found beside fouled plugs which was remedied.

1. On carb. #1 someone started to drill though the brass plug by the fuel air screw. I didnt notice any kinda pin holes or anything so I dont think that is an issue.

2 On carb #3 the washer between the o-ring and spring on the fuel air screw is missing. Could this cause any problems with how the bike runs?

It looks like the p.o or former mechanic has issues with fuel/air areas.

Looks like the PO had issues with paying attention to what they were doing. I'd go over those carbs really well with a printout of the parts fiche handy. No telling what other BS moves they pulled.

Yeah so far everything else looks good I havent done #4 yet though.
